Do you have your photographer yet?

I could be her!

First, The Phone Call

I'd really like to chat and get to know you a bit before j6umping into the details. I love hearing about where you are in your love story and your wedding inspirations! It really lets me get a feel for what is most important for capturing your important day.

And of course, this is a great time to ask aaaaaaaallllll the questions!

After the call, I'll put together a custom quote for you to see different coverage options. You'll be able to subtract and add to truly customize your photography coverage.

Then, Book Your Date

Once you're happy with your options you'll accept your quote, and I'll turn it into an invoice and contract.

To officially book your date, a retainer of 50% of the invoice total is due with the signed contract.

That's it! You're photographer is booked.

The Engagement Session

After you're booked we can start talking about doing an engagement session!

I love scheduling these, even if it’s just a mini, so we're old friends come wedding day!

Let's do something that is special or unique to YOU!

Upgrade to the full session for up to two locations and a few outfit changes!

Planning

There's so much that goes into planning a wedding day, amiright? So, about a month out from the wedding, let's touch base, and I'll meet you where you're at in the planing process. We'll make sure we're all on the same page so you can be carefree on your wedding day.

I have a quick questionnaire to collect all of the routine info so when we hop on the phone we can talk all the details!

I encourage my couples to reach out if they have any questions, need recommendations, or for anything at all! I'm here to help!

After the wedding....

For the "sneak preview," I like to send a highlighted selection from the day, and sometimes that can be 20-50 images!  Those get uploaded to your online gallery for you to privately access and download while I complete the rest of the wedding.

Final delivery of your gallery can take a 3-6 weeks, depending on the season.  I try my best to keep everyone updated with my editing queue.  The delivery will go out via email from my studio manager software (you should be old friends with it by now ;) ).

A few days after your delivery you're given a GUEST PASSWORD.  Before you give it out to friends and family, make sure you "hide" any of the photos grandma and aunt Karen don't need to see.  You'll also get emailed instructions with creating your albums, keepsakes, etc around this time.

If you've noticed by now, I'm the worst at posting regularly on social media.  But if I have, I'll always make an effort to tag you and all of your vendor team.  I'd absolutely love if you tag me as well!

FAQ

How do you photography weddings?

It really starts with our first phone call. I like to get to know my clients and what is most important and exciting for their event. I try to remain unobtrusive while capturing the most meaningful moments while we're together.

So, on your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments, and all the details that make your wedding unique. The couple that sees beauty and meaning in the raw, unscripted moments being documented as well as the art that goes into portraiture -- those are my best clients.

Of course, I will take your traditional family portraits, I understand those are a must! I'll help you with the list and make sure to get them done in a timely manner so we can get back to actually enjoying the day!

Long Answer short: I wear many hats!

Where are you based / Do you travel?

KY / YES.

I'm located in a rural area in central KY. Almost perfectly between Louisville & Lexington.

I also find myself frequently in Frankfort, KY, Eastern KY/Red River Gorge area, and Western KY/Hopkins County.

OR ANYWHERE THERE'S A BEACH OR MOUTAINS. Ask about my reasonable travel rates!

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely! I think that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and authentic memories. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, let's be open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.

How many pictures do we get?

For weddings, it's safe to say between 50-75 images per hour. Whereas portrait sessions can very between 50 and 200 total. It all depends on where we are, what we're doing, and the lighting.

You always get access to ALL of the final edited photos. You'll be able to download, share and order prints inside of your private online gallery.

Are you insured?

Yes! And a lot of venues require it, so let me know who to send a copy to!

How will we get our photos? Can I download them?

You will get private access to view and download your gallery with a special password and pin to start. Usually, a handful of highlights will be delivered first, with the remainder soon after. During this time you'll be able to "hide" any photos you don't want to share with others (EX: Getting ready photos are almost always marked as private to the client.)

About a week or two after the final gallery is delivered, you'll get a guest password, making it easy to share your pictures (minus the hiddle ones!) with family and friends. They'll be able to download and order too!
